Re: Jack Wilshere
I'm not sure if you're aware, but it's not my decision to make. None of the decisions the club makes are down to me.

And I'm really sorry to drop this bombshell, but none of the decisions are yours to make either.

However, both you and I are free to throw our unqualified thoughts out there.

No but you have to be logical to do that Eerie and not make flakey wishing on a star decisions like yourself

Not wishing to be antagonistic but I can't help pointing out that logic doesn't figure much in your decisions does it Eerie?

Re: Jack Wilshere
Agreed, but I'd still take the chance. I just get the feeling there's been more to it then just injuries with him, and still think he'll come good.

But there comes a point when a players ability relies on his fitness.

Re: Jack Wilshere
he tries too many tricks and always runs into a wall of players. For a player in his position to only have 2 assists, means he is statistically very poor.

As much as I dont rate Noble, I would rather him then wheelchair.

High wages, attitude problem and Andy Carroll-esq injury record, Im out!

'But you are explaining what he can do if he is fit.'

Yes mate, in response to loads of people calling him overrated. He's not overrated ability wise, in my opinion.

It would be a big risk signing him, given our record with injuries, I completely get that and wouldn't argue against that. But I personally think he is of a level where it's worth gambling, especially as it's a position where we do have cover, and there's not the reliance like with a striker.

EDDIE HOWE still wants to sign Jack Wilshere in the summer even though he can’t promise him a place in his team.

Jack Wilshere has been unable to command a first-team place at Bournemouth recently
The Bournemouth boss will try to convince his on-loan Arsenal star that his spell on the South Coast has been a success despite his current role as a super sub.

But you are explaining what he can do if he is fit. But he never is. Fully fit, I mean.

I sort of compare Wilshere to a Ferrari with a wheel missing. Still looks great but fundamentally cannot do what it is supposed to do.

Re: Jack Wilshere
And if Andy Carroll wasn't constantly injured he be brilliant too....

...except he is constantly injured and so would Jack Wilshere be. It's a shame but he's Arsenal's problem and iirc Wilshere had trouble staying in Bournemouth's side didn't he?

Re: Jack Wilshere
He would need to be on a low basic salary with an appearance bonus otherwise it's just like chucking money down the drain (not that my 499 quid is going to go far!)

Eerie Descent 12:26 Thu Jun 1
Re: Jack Wilshere
He is not overrated at all, if he could stay fit he would be an absolute star. Anyone who watched that Arsenal game with Barcelona, when he was the only Arsenal player that looked like he could be playing for the opposition, knows the talent this lad has.

I think he's the sort of player I'd take the chance on, especially with the cover we have in CM.

He won't fit in with Barkley. He'll fit in with Carol in their hospital bed
